Supervised by: Senior Assistant Director
Minimum Qualifications: Hiring subject to applicable URJ and Pennsylvania State background checks.
Must be able to demonstrate flexibility, manage multiple responsibilities at once and work as part of a team. Able to actively look after ones’ own physical and mental health, advocate for their own needs. Supervisory experience is preferred. Passion and advanced experience in marketing, advertising, photography and/or videography. Experience using a DSLR camera. Knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Premiere, social media, and Canva. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and supervision of others is a plus. Excellent driving record. Love and/or respect for The Arts and a diverse community is a must. 21 years of age by June 1 of this summer.

Responsibilities
JEWISH
- Facilitate live stream or Facebook Live during Friday evening services and engage with viewers via chat.
- Collaborate with Unit Heads, arts mentors, and general staff for content creation and unit/all-camp media programs and needs
- Ensure a media staff member is video recording every Friday night and captures a photo of each bunk
- Actively participate and demonstrate respect in ritual moments
- Incorporate core values and summer theme in meaningful and appropriate ways
ARTS
- Facilitate showcase livestream, independently or in partnership with 3rd party vendor, and engage with viewers via chat.
- Assign media team to photograph and video majors, showcase, rehearsals and performances
- Capture content that tells the story of the process of creating and refining camper work up until the final production.
- Create end-of-session video for showcase
- Create Director’s Chair video weekly
- Create Staff slideshow for end of summer re-cap
- Create gallery video for showcase livestream
- Collaborate with 6 Points Director of Development and Marketing Manager on:
CAMP
- Collaborate with Assistant Director on the creation of a summer communications calendar
- Supervise media team and coordinate schedules to capture each camper and camp program every day through posed and candid shots, including but not limited to Majors, Electives, Kinesthetic Arts, Evening Programs, transitions, and impromptu moments
- Oversee the editing and upload process of CampMinder / Campanion photos
- Schedule appropriate and engaging social media content for daily posts on Facebook and Instagram and other social media that may arise
- Create and send all summer communications to families and other stakeholders
- Produce an opening day welcome video
- Produce appropriate content to be used for year-round communications, including holiday messages and tours of campus
- Ensure all content is organized in Adobe Lightroom and/or on external hard drives for easy access and use during school year
- Actively participate and encourage others in camp activities
Leadership Team Responsibilities:
- Abide by and enforce safety and security protocols and policies with all participants and staff.
- Attend Staff and Leadership zoom orientations
- Attend Leadership Retreat as scheduled
- Attend daily Leadership Team meetings
- Attend routine meetings with Assistant Director as scheduled
- Contribute to the overall positive morale of the camp community.
- Serve as Senior Shmira (nightly on-duty leadership coverage) and Rosh as assigned
- Maintain strict confidentiality of staff, camper, and family information
- Other responsibilities as needed
