Summary
Join our team as a Part-Time Ultrasound Technician at The ENT Center of Central GA in <LOCATION>. The Part-Time Ultrasound Technologist supports the diagnostic and clinical needs of our busy ENT practice by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations focused on head and neck anatomy.
Responsibilities
Clinical & Technical Duties
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations related to ENT.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort.
- Produce high-quality images following protocols.
- Document accurate findings in the EMR.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance.
Patient Experience
- Greet patients warmly.
- Explain procedures clearly.
- Maintain confidentiality.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with physicians and staff.
- Maintain supplies and exam room readiness.
- Participate in meetings or trainings.
Qualifications
Required:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
- ENT/Thyroid experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of ultrasound experience.
- BLS certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in ENT, endocrinology, or surgical specialty.
- Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures.
- Familiarity with EMR systems.
