Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Take orders accurately using Toast, ensuring quick and friendly service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and managing waste disposal
- Engage with guests in a lively, professional manner, providing excellent customer service and fostering a fun atmosphere
- Drive sales of beverages or Daybeds and Cabanas
- Monitor guest behavior to promote safety, responsible drinking, and adherence to pool rules
- Setup and breakdown of the bar area
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or beverage roles, preferably within hospitality settings like fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments
- Strong knowledge of Toast
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining high-quality service
- Be able to work independently as you will run the entire pool bar
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest experiences
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure health compliance
- Liquor license must be valid for the season
- Experience in serving beverages at poolsides, nightclubs, or catering events is highly desirable
