At Pride of Illinois, we exist is to IMPACT kids and help them grow into happy, healthy, responsible adults. Our athletes enjoy instructional class and competitive team programs in Gymnastics, Tumbling, Cheerleading, Ninja, and Swimming from ages 1 to 18. The Wonder Years Preschool, Birthday Parties, Camps, and Field Trips offer extra opportunities for kids to learn and grow at Pride.
We have an immediate opening on our Hospitality Team! The Hospitality Team is responsible for greeting and assisting families in the lobby, updating family enrollments, and completing various office duties and tasks. This role promotes the company mission to positively IMPACT kids' lives by building relationships with families and athletes, encouraging and engaging with kids every day, and providing a clean, safe, and family-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented, family-friendly, and positive attitude to add to the experience our athletes and families expect.
This position will work out of both locations: Pride GlenEd at 4 Cougar Drive, Glen Carbon, IL, and Pride Collinsville, 926 McDonough Lake Rd., Collinsville, IL. General team hours are Monday through Friday 3:30pm-8:30pm and Saturday 8:00am-6:00pm. The ideal candidate will work a mix of days to average 10-20 hours per week. Training schedules may vary slightly and will take place in person and by Google Meet video conferences. All training is paid.
General tasks include:
- Maintain a clean and friendly lobby atmosphere.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers by phone, text, and email.
- Update family accounts within database for enrollments, attendance, and payments.
- Maintain confidentiality where applicable.
- Fulfill customer purchases in the Pride Pro Shop (online and in-person).
- General office duties (copying, filing, etc).
- Update social media accounts.
- Assist coworkers and department leaders as needed for projects.
Qualifications desired:
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred
- General knowledge of and experience working with web-based software programs
- Platforms used include: Google suite, iClassPro (customer database system), Connecteam, Trello, Canva, and Facebook/Instagram
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in USA; Must be 18 years or older

- Afternoon, Evening, and Weekend availability (including some holidays)
Schedule and Pay Details:
- Starting pay range $15.50-$18.50 based on experience
