Overview
Join our dynamic architecture team as an Architect Assistant and be a vital contributor to innovative design projects! Duties
- Assist in creating detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize design concepts effectively.
- Support project scheduling and manage timelines to ensure timely delivery of design phases and construction documents.
- Collaborate with project managers on construction estimating, budgeting, and contract negotiations to optimize project resources and costs.
- Contribute to construction management activities including site visits, renovation assessments, and interior design coordination.
- Prepare presentation materials such as sketches and renderings for client meetings using various visualization tools.
- Aid in the development of construction documents, specifications, and contract drawings that adhere to building codes and standards.
- Participate in business development efforts by assisting with proposals, client communications, and project proposals.
Qualifications
- Proven proficiency in drafting and modeling software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (including Grasshopper), SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, renovation projects, interior design principles, and construction management practices.
- Experience with project scheduling tools and techniques to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent negotiation skills for vendor interactions and contract discussions.
- Knowledge of building codes, contracts law related to architecture projects, and construction estimating methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple deadlines effectively.
