The Server is responsible for providing professional and attentive food and beverage service to guests at hotels, resorts, audit events, meetings, and other hospitality locations. This role supports the overall success and professionalism of the Travel Task Force Team by delivering excellent guest service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service throughout their dining or event experience
Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate orders clearly to kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and beverages efficiently and according to established service standards
Set up, maintain, and break down dining areas, banquet rooms, and event spaces
Ensure tables, service areas, and equipment remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests or concerns
Clear and reset tables efficiently during and after service
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times
Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
Work closely with team members, supervisors, kitchen staff, vendors, and facility personnel
Maintain a professional, courteous, and positive demeanor at all times
Perform other hospitality-related duties as assigned
Previous serving, banquet, catering, or hospitality experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow service, sanitation, and safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move supplies or equipment as needed
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Flexibility to travel and work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
