Production Manager – Custom Millwork & Cabinetry
GS Woodworking is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our custom millwork and cabinetry manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for managing the operational flow between the woodworking, finishing, painting, packaging, and installation preparation departments, ensuring projects move efficiently through every stage of production and are completed on schedule for installation.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and actively involved on the shop floor, monitoring production processes, quality standards, productivity, workflow, and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily production and factory operations;
- Coordinate workflow between woodworking, finishing, painting, packaging, and installation preparation departments;
- Monitor production schedules, priorities, and project progress;
- Ensure projects move efficiently through all stages of production;
- Supervise shop floor organization, operational processes, and team productivity;
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and operational challenges;
- Maintain quality control standards across all departments;
- Coordinate communication between production, project management, scheduling, and installation teams;
- Ensure projects are completed accurately and released on time for installation;
- Promote accountability, teamwork, organization, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the facility.
Qualifications
- Previous experience managing production or operations in millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, manufacturing, or related industries;
- Strong knowledge of woodworking, finishing, painting, and production processes;
- Experience coordinating production teams and workflow management;
- Hands-on leadership profile with strong operational oversight skills;
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities;
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and production priorities simultaneously;
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- English and Portuguese or Spanish required.
