Transactional Attorney for Business Law Firm
Virtus Law PLLC is a fast-paced, dynamic law firm practicing in the areas of business law, mergers & acquisitions, estate planning and litigation. We are hiring for the position of associate attorney in our transactional department. The right person for this position will have 2+ years of experience working at a law firm, have experience with estate planning and business law (IT companies a plus), be able to manage a very busy schedule as well as a full caseload of clients throughout the U.S. We are looking for someone ready to hit the ground running.
Job Specific Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Planner
- Experienced in Estate Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions; Entity formation, structure & governance; Employment matters; Business contract drafting; Business succession
- Be proficient with technology and cloud-based systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, associates and clients
- Calm under pressure
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
- Managing workflow
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed in Minnesota (or in process of obtaining license)
- 2+ years experience in legal field
- Ability to manage full caseload
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience related to IT companies
- Knowledge of Clio as practice management software
- Knowledge of Wealthdocx and Businessdocx
