Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Kissimmee. As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral intervention programs for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Implement evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide supervision and training to behavior technicians, ensuring fidelity to treatment protocols and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to coordinate care and support holistic development.
- Maintain accurate medical records, patient assessments, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in intake processes and contribute to ongoing behavioral health evaluations for new clients.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, special education, or related field required; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
- Certification as a BCBA from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is essential.
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient care procedures, and medical documentation standards.
- Experience conducting behavioral health assessments and diagnostic evaluations is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines. Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
