Cram Crew is a academic tutoring firm based in Texas that provides in-home tutoring with a personalized, tailored approach to students’ educational plans. We have been in the business for over 27 years and are looking for multi-talented lifelong learners ready to join our team.
As a tutor with Cram Crew, you will help students prepare for the Reading, Writing & Language, and Essay sections of the SAT and the English, Reading, and Essay sections of the ACT. As you progress with Cram Crew, you will also have the opportunity to work with students on other standardized tests or in their academic subjects.
Workshops and administrative tasks are required. All employees must be available for a weeklong training in Katy, Texas. Tutors will be expected to commute around the greater Dallas area.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Tracking and analyzing student progress
- Communicating with clients and the office accordingly
- Willingness to meet students in-home and commute within the local metropolitan area (Highland Park)
- Minimum commitment of 10 hours of tutoring per week (mostly evenings and weekends)
- Schedule and manage your own tutoring sessions that align with students availability
- Administrative tasks as required by our offices
What you should offer:
- 1-year commitment preferred
- Min. of 60 college credit hours
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- Ability to provide an excellent client experience to students and parents
- Flexibility, initiative, and problem-solving skills
- Tutoring experience preferred (high school level)
- Passion for education
