Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and attentive Unarmed Security Officer to work overnight weekend shifts at a professional office building in Charleston, SC. This position requires strong observation skills and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment during non-business hours.
The ideal candidate is dependable, alert, and comfortable working independently during overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems
- Conduct periodic interior patrol rounds throughout the building
- Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Secure entrances, exits, and restricted areas
- Respond appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Requirements
- Previous security experience preferred
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check (as required by state law)
