Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring operational excellence and high customer satisfaction
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and development opportunities
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales and reduce shrinkage
- Oversee cash handling, cashiering, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store financials with accuracy and integrity
- Implement effective merchandising and marketing strategies to boost store visibility and sales performance
- Supervise shift management, scheduling, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, inventory tracking, and reporting to streamline store operations
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, preferably in grocery or wireless sales environments
- Demonstrated success in supervising teams, managing retail sales targets, and executing operational tasks
- Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, communication, and leadership to motivate staff and engage customers effectively
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and performance evaluations
- Knowledge of retail math including budgeting, pricing strategies, inventory management, and sales analysis
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases
- Familiarity with POS systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, and inventory control procedures
