YOUTH COUNSELOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: WILL TRAIN, no previous experience necessary.

Provide structure and supervision for students in a multi-level building and community setting.

Establish yourself as a mentor (teach, model, encourage, support, listen).

Attend weekly staff meetings and all required company trainings.

Co-facilitate activities.
-
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements to apply for youth counselor:

20 years of age or older
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Valid Driver's License
-
Pass a Criminal Background Check through the Utah Department of Public Safety's Bureau of Criminal Identification
Requirements if hired:

Food Handler's Permit
-
CPR and First Aid Certification within 3o days of hire

Attend pre-service and annual trainings as required
Youth Counselors provide supervision, advocacy, intensive skills development instruction and monitoring for students with emotional, behavioral and cognitive struggles.
