Duties
- Engage with prospective and existing clients through outside sales efforts, including cold calling and territory management, to generate new leads and expand market reach
- Conduct comprehensive product demos and technical presentations to illustrate the value of our solutions, emphasizing features that align with client needs
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account growth within assigned territories
- Manage customer relationships by providing exceptional account management and customer service, ensuring client retention and satisfaction
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage sales pipelines, analyze customer data, and streamline communication processes
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms effectively while maintaining profitability and building long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support lead generation and brand awareness efforts
- Perform analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve product positioning
Experience
- Proven track record in outside sales, B2B sales, or technology sales with demonstrated success in managing territory sales or account portfolios
- Strong background in management or business development roles that involve direct sales, lead generation, and customer engagement
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or equivalent tools for pipeline management and data analysis
- Experience in conducting product demos, technical sales presentations, and upselling strategies within a retail or corporate environment
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to build rapport quickly through customer service excellence
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable sales plans
- Knowledge of marketing principles related to lead generation and territory management is highly desirable
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting requiring proactive outreach via cold calling or inside sales techniques
