Education and Qualifications
- Must have the following qualifications:
- At least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Meet one of the following:
- 6 ECE/ECD credits + 6 months teaching experience.
- 3 ECE/ECD credits + 1 year teaching experience.
- CDA or similar credential + 1 year experience.
- Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and transportation.
- Able to bend, kneel, and lift children as required.
- Pass a criminal background check.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to stoop, crawl, kneel, and bend in order to speak to children at the child's eye level, to play with children, and to pick up toys/equipment off the floor.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and hold children:
- Infant and Toddler Teachers: up to 36 pounds
- Two-Year Old Teachers: up to 50 pounds
- Preschool Teachers: up to 70 pounds
