About Caledonia Food Co-op
Caledonia Food Co-op is a member-owned grocery store that draws together the diverse communities of Caledonia County and surrounding areas in an inclusive space supporting food justice, local resilience, environmental stewardship, area food producers and a vibrant downtown St. Johnsbury.
Essential Job Duties
-
Sweep, vacuum, and or/dry mop the entire main floor of store, vestibule, back hallway and stairs
-
Sweep and/or dry mop floors in office hallway
-
Wash entire main floor of store
-
Clean and stock all restrooms
-
Clean breakroom
-
Vacuum and empty trash in offices once a week
-
Wash floors downstairs once a week
-
Available for night and weekend shifts
-
Keep paper products, soap and other dispensers filled.

Identify and report possible maintenance repairs.
-
Sweep and mop floors.
-
Clean building by emptying trash, sweeping, vacuuming and cleaning surfaces.

Clean, dust and disinfect surfaces.
-
Use environmentally friendly cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
-
Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces.
-
Move heavy equipment and furniture to ensure thorough cleaning.

Able to lift and carry up 50 lbs. as needed throughout the day

There are no educational requirements, though prior experience is a plus.
