Club Z! Tutoring is seeking experienced tutors to provide one-on-one and small-group Literacy and Mathematics instruction in schools throughout Forsyth County. Tutors will be assigned to work with elementary, middle, or high school students based on their qualifications, experience, and school needs. We are looking for educators who want to make a measurable difference in student success while enjoying a flexible part-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging instruction in Literacy and Math.
- Tutors will be assigned to elementary (Grades 1–5), middle (Grades 6–8), or high school (Grades 9–12) based on experience and school placement.
- Focus on closing learning gaps and building confidence.
- Provide one-on-one and small group sessions (max ratio 1:8)
- Align sessions with NC Standard Course of Study.
- Monitor progress through assessments and monthly reports.
- Communicate regularly with families and collaborate with school staff.
- Complete required training sessions.
Schedule & Hours
- Part-time, typically 15–20 hours per week.
- Sessions will take place during the school day, with possible before and/or after school sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; licensed teachers strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience.
- Strong instructional, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must pass a background check.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on group size.
