Jennmar is currently seeking a Brake Press Operator for their Blairsville, PA Plant. This position requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and technical expertise in press brake operations. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, the ability to read blueprints accurately, and the skills necessary to operate press brake machines effectively. Duties & Responsibilities of a Brake Press Operator:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal according to blueprints and work orders
- Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job
- Use hand tools and crane to load and unload materials onto the machine
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and dimensions for each project
- Assemble fabricated parts to ensure proper fit and alignment
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
- Proficient in operating press brake machines and related equipment
- Strong blueprint reading skills to understand project requirements
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes
- Ability to use hand tools and operate a crane safely
- Experience with quality inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in measurements and final products
Hourly Rate & Schedule of a Brake Press Operator:
- $17.00 per hour
- Monday thru Friday
- 6 am to 2:30 pm
