Compensation:
$18 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:
This role focuses on the installation of systems within commercial and industrial environments, with an emphasis on supermarket refrigeration projects.
Install, assemble, and service commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including copper line sets
Assist in building and installing equipment used in HVAC/R applications
Identify potential maintenance issues, risks, and safety concerns
Work collaboratively with team members and maintain positive relationships with customers
Install flex duct and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial settings
Install HVAC equipment in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications
Apply knowledge of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
Safely operate hand and power tools relevant to the trade
Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly maintained and in safe working condition
Communicate effectively with customers before, during, and after service work
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations
Adhere to all job site safety requirements and customer guidelines
This is a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of HVAC/R systems, tools, materials, and components
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Willingness and ability to travel as needed for projects
Ability to lift, carry, push, or maneuver heavy materials (with assistance or equipment as needed)
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles
Strong communication skills and ability to follow established procedures
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
Capable of working independently while maintaining quality and efficiency
Valid Class E driver’s license preferred
OSHA certification preferred; required within 60 days of employment
