Fleet Mechanic / Facility Maintenance Technician
Location: NW Houston
Compensation: $22–$25/hour

We are supporting a well-established commercial plumbing company serving the Houston metro with a fleet of service vehicles supporting our field operations. We're looking for a dependable Fleet Mechanic who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and keeping our fleet operating at its best.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining our fleet of service vehicles, equipment, and facility. You'll perform diagnostics, repairs, preventative maintenance, and general shop upkeep to help keep our technicians in the field.
What You'll Do
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair the company's fleet of Ford and Chevrolet gasoline and light-duty diesel vehicles, along with plumbing equipment and trailers.
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems
- Coordinate with parts suppliers and dealerships
- Perform light welding or fabrication when needed
- Maintain shop equipment and facility
- Complete work orders and basic computer tasks
We're Looking For
- Experience diagnosing and repairing modern gasoline and light-duty diesel vehicles
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic systems
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Comfortable working overtime when necessary
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Basic computer proficiency
Nice to Have
- Fleet maintenance experience
- Welding or fabrication experience
- ASE certifications
- Facility maintenance experience
