The Team You’ll Join
You will join the MoneyGuide product team at Envestnet, a collaborative group focused on delivering innovative financial planning solutions that power better client outcomes. The team partners closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and client-facing stakeholders to build and enhance a leading wealth management platform. Together, they blend deep product expertise, technical insight, and market knowledge to develop scalable solutions, drive product adoption, and continuously improve the advisor and client experience.
How You’ll Contribute
The Lead Product Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, roadmap, and execution of a specific product or product line within the MoneyGuide division of Envestnet. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and technical capabilities as well as financial planning concepts. The Lead Product Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development and, design teams, and, to lead and deliver innovative products for customers and drive business growth.

Product lifecycle – lead the success and product life cycle from concept to delivery

Feature specifications - work closely with development, design, and business stakeholders to develop priorities and detailed feature specifications.

Lead the execution of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the MoneyGuide platform.

Define and prioritize product features and functionalities for the different areas of the MoneyGuide platform.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align product goals and objectives. Assess unusual circumstances and use sophisticated analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and recommend solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and concise product requirements.

Understand technical constraints and trade-offs to make informed product decisions.

Collaborate with developers to define system architecture

Lead client-facing conversations and act as a subject matter expert (SME) on the MoneyGuide platform

Develop strong relationships with key clients and partners to understand pain points and opportunities.

Translate client insights into product enhancements that drive value and differentiation.

Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and Support to define go-to-market strategies and enablement materials for new capabilities.

Effectively communicate product benefits internally and externally to drive adoption and engagement.

Support training, marketing, and client-facing teams in articulating platform value.

Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate feature adoption, usage, and success.

Use analytics, client insights, and market research to iterate and improve product offerings continuously.

Act as a leader and mentor within the product management team, modeling best practices in stakeholder management, decision-making, and execution.

Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.

As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
What You’ll Need to Bring

Bachelor’s degree

8+ years of experience in product management
-
Motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently and perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment

Experience with data analysis and A/B testing

Ability to write clear and concise product requirements documents (PRDs)

Experience working closely with development teams

Excellent people skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams, and third parties
-
Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills

Extreme attention to detail and highly organized

Experience in the financial technology industry

Experience with wealth management technology platforms
Nice-to-Haves

CFP designation or similar credentials related to financial planning

Robust knowledge of financial planning topics and solutions

Our Investment in You
This role offers a base salary range of $138,500 to $173,100. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
