Social Media Creator
Boba Nation Grand is looking for an outgoing, expressive, and energetic contract creator who can become a recognizable on-camera personality for our brand.
This is a performance-first contract role, not a traditional desk-based social-media management or advanced editing position. You must genuinely enjoy appearing on camera and be willing to participate in TikTok and Instagram trends, including simple dances, lip-syncs, comedic skits, challenges, product reactions, interviews, and other playful content.
You do not need to be a professional dancer. However, you must be comfortable being expressive, spontaneous, and occasionally silly on camera, including while filming in active stores, at events, or around customers.
Your primary focus will be developing ideas, performing on camera, interacting naturally with people, and capturing strong raw footage. Boba Nation Grand will generally handle final editing unless editing services are separately included in an agreed project.
Contract Structure
This is a project-based contract position rather than a regular hourly employee position.
Before each project or content period, Boba Nation Grand and the creator will agree on:
- The number and type of videos, clips, or recording sessions
- Whether the creator will provide concepts, trend research, scripts, hooks, or shot lists
- Filming locations and scheduled recording dates
- Delivery deadlines and revision expectations
- Compensation for the agreed deliverables or filming sessions
- Any separately approved editing, account-management, event, or travel services
Compensation will be based on the agreed scope and deliverables. The contract does not guarantee a minimum number of hours, projects, recording sessions, or contract renewals.
Filming may take place at Boba Nation Grand stores, community events, grand openings, or other approved locations. Any travel requirements and related compensation must be agreed upon before the assignment.
Deliverables
- TikTok or Instagram dance and audio trends
- Comedic skits, challenges, lip-syncs, and reaction videos
- Playful product demonstrations and taste tests
- Customer, employee, influencer, or community interactions
- Recurring characters, segments, catchphrases, or content series
- Multiple hooks or opening takes for the editing team
- Timely adaptations of relevant trends to the Boba Nation Grand brand
- A defined number of approved, usable clips or takes from each recording session
- Organized raw footage delivered by the agreed deadline
- Creative concepts, scripts, trend references, or shot lists when included in the project scope
Responsibilities
- Regularly appear as a recognizable on-camera personality for Boba Nation Grand
- Participate enthusiastically in simple dances, trends, challenges, skits, and other entertaining formats
- Adapt current trends to fit Boba Nation Grand instead of simply copying unrelated content
- Perform comfortably in busy stores, public settings, community events, and grand openings
- Bring practical content ideas or trend references when creative development is included in the agreed scope
- Complete the agreed deliverables by the established deadline
- Provide multiple usable takes when reasonably required by the project
- Organize and deliver footage in the agreed format
- Follow Boba Nation Grand's brand guidelines and approved content priorities
- Follow approved consent procedures before featuring identifiable customers, employees, franchisees, influencers, or minors
- Avoid recording confidential business information, proprietary materials, or restricted operational areas without approval
- Communicate promptly about scheduling conflicts, production issues, or anything that may affect delivery
- Respond professionally to reasonable feedback and revisions included in the agreed scope
Qualifications
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for performing, not merely filming other people
- Comfortable dancing, lip-syncing, improvising, reacting, and participating in playful social-media formats
- Able to maintain positive energy through multiple takes
- Able to perform naturally even when customers or employees are present
- Understands how to make trends relevant to a food, beverage, community, and lifestyle brand
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form social-media trends
- Able to capture clean, usable vertical footage using a smartphone or approved equipment
- Reliable and able to complete agreed deliverables on time
- Able to travel to agreed filming locations
- Able to provide examples of previous on-camera, promotional, social-media, or customer-facing work
How Success Will Be Measured
- Number of approved, usable clips delivered from each session
- Completion of the agreed content package by the deadline
- Willingness and ability to participate in trend-based and playful content
- Development of a recognizable and consistent on-camera personality
- Ability to create multiple strong takes without extensive direction
- Quality, organization, and usability of delivered footage
- Reliability, communication, and responsiveness to feedback
- Audience retention, shares, saves, and meaningful engagement when available, not views alone
Specific performance expectations, compensation, usage rights, deadlines, and project requirements will be documented in the applicable contract or written project agreement.
