We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee our maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in industrial maintenance, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our company drivers through proactive maintenance strategies and effective inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring high standards of performance and safety.
- Willing to travel monthly to all terminals, wash facilities and locations for audits and site inspections
- Develop and implement maintenance maintenance schedules utilizing Samsara and other tools.
- Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of tractors & trailers using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
- Manage projects related to facility upgrades, equipment installations, and maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with other departments and vendors to solve equipment and scheduling issues.
- Train staff on best practices for maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and compliance with safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a management role within a transportation setting
- Strong knowledge of liquid bulk trailer industry and HAZMAT equipment
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
