American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification for an evening shift role at a Level III Trauma facility.

MRI Tech position within a Level III Trauma hospital with 286 staffed beds
-
Evening shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday

On-call rotation required among staff members, covering weekdays 6:00 PM to 5:30 AM and weekends from Saturday 5:30 AM through Monday 5:30 AM

Possible weekend work if on call

No floating required between units or sister facilities

Uses Epic for charting

Philips MRI equipment experience required

Minimum of 1 year of MRI Tech experience required

BLS certification required (AHA certifications only)

ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required

Philips equipment experience required

License required if applicable

First-time travelers not accepted for this position

Facility allows one shift call-off per two-week period

Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed

Scrub requirement includes black pants and teal top

Local candidates within 60 miles are considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate, with non-local candidates prioritized first

Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

All requested time off must be submitted at time of offer, with approval based on facility needs

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November, peaking in August and September), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
