Haven Healthcare is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial
records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting. If

Responsibilities:
Responsible from beginning to end of the accounting cycle. A/P, A/R, GL
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income
statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations,
accruals, and adjustments, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, including reviewing
journal entries, analyzing account balances, and investigating discrepancies.
Assist with external audits and reviews, providing documentation,
explanations, and support as needed.
Provide guidance, training, and support to junior accounting staff, ensuring
their professional development and adherence to accounting standards.
Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in accounting or finance roles, with
increasing levels of responsibility.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, standards, and
regulations (GAAP).
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Must know
QuickBooks.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret
financial data and identify trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and
meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
