ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must obtain and maintain a CDL driver’s license within 6 months OR Must have and maintain a CDL driver’s license
- Grading and maintaining road right-of-ways
- Digging, spreading, and leveling dirt and shells or gravel, using pick and shovel
- Lifting, carrying, and holding building materials, tools, and supplies
- Cleaning tools, equipment, materials, and work areas
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand-tools
- Joining, wrapping, and sealing sections of pipe
- Driving dump truck, water truck and/or vacuum truck
PERIPHERAL DUTIES
- A working knowledge of the use of hand tools in construction and maintenance work
- A general knowledge in the operation of track hoes, excavators and skid steers
- Ability to follow directions in performing assigned tasks
- Ability to get along well with others and good physical condition
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Some general experience in driving dump trucks and in performing non-technical tasks in the construction, maintenance, and repair of roads, grounds, buildings, drainage systems, or related work is required.

Outdoor work in inclement weather is performed throughout the year.
