LVN/LPN – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for a travel assignment in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs and be comfortable floating between multiple patient care units.

- Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Requirements
- Active Maryland LVN/LPN License or Compact License
- Minimum 1 year of recent LTAC, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehab, or related nursing experience
- Previous travel experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
- Strong knowledge of infection control, medication administration, wound care, respiratory care, and patient safety practices
- Ability to work with patients requiring memory care, rehabilitation, pulmonary care, and long-term care services
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in LTAC and long-term care environments
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor vital signs, blood glucose levels, intake/output, and patient condition
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and ongoing patient assessments
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, feeding tube management, and specimen collection
- Support patients with chronic illnesses, respiratory conditions, dementia, and rehabilitation needs
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the healthcare team promptly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system
- Follow infection prevention guidelines, isolation precautions, and safety protocols
Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,600.00 per week
Experience:
- LPN: 2 years (Required)
- LTC, Skilled Nursing, Rehab: 1 year (Required)
- Travel: 1 year (Required)
- Cerner charting system: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Active Maryland LVN/LPN License or Compact License (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
