About YOU: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workers’ Compensation Legal Assistant to join our firm. You should have a passion for seeking justice for those who have been injured. You will manage a full caseload of workers' compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity.
In this role you will:
Assist with filing legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
Manage case files, including organizing and maintaining case documents, evidence, and correspondence.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to the case.
Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
Work collaboratively with the legal team to develop and implement case strategies.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least one year of legal experience, litigation or workers compensation preferred.
Strong communication, research, and writing skills.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
A strong commitment to client service and achieving positive outcomes for clients.
Experience with case management software, such as Needles, is a plus.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
