Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen exhaust hoods, ducts, filters, and vents using appropriate tools and cleaning agents
- Remove grease and debris from surfaces to ensure optimal airflow and reduce fire risks
- Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning tasks
- Collaborate with team members to complete scheduled cleaning cycles efficiently and thoroughly
- Adhere to environmental regulations regarding waste disposal and chemical handling
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing, climbing ladders, bending, and lifting heavy equipment or materials
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills to report findings clearly and follow instructions precisely
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or maintenance is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling and working at heights is preferred
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and a positive attitude toward teamwork
