As a Client Service Representative (CSR), you will be a vital link between pet owners and veterinary staff, providing exceptional customer service and support. Core administrative skills and learned skills in veterinary medicine, animal handling, and pet care will enable you to assist in appointments, answer inquiries, and ensure the well-being of animals in our care. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome clients and patients in a friendly and welcoming manner;
- Assist with client and patient requests both in person and over the phone
- Answer multiple phone calls;
- Schedule appointments, procedures and follow-ups;
- Use of veterinary practice management software for scheduling and processing transactions;
- Must demonstrate ability to multi-task by handling calls, email inquiries and financial transactions in a very busy, high volume environment;
- Process invoices accurately and with attention to detail;
- Perform End of Day and End of Month Reporting;
- Administrative duties, such as making copies, emailing, texting, filing, and faxing are required.
SKILLS:
- Proficient computer skills and ability to learn veterinary practice management software (experience with Covetrus Pulse Veterinary software a plus);
- Detail-oriented;
- Reliable and Punctual;
- Ability to handle stressful situations;
- Flexible hours during morning, afternoons and evenings;
- Must be organized and display strong communication skills;
- Must work well with others and be able to contribute to a collaborative work environment;
- Able to take instruction;
- Customer service experience required; Veterinary office experience a plus;
- Comfortable working with the public and around various types of animals including exotics;
- Ability to confidently and precisely multitask;
- Must be friendly and out-going;
- Must display excellent communication skills.
Work Remotely
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per year
