Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, patient, and reliable support professional to work one‑to‑one with a talented neurodiverse young adult artist whose primary focus is music production, performance, and multi‑instrument practice. He is highly motivated by music, thrives with gentle structure, and benefits from consistent encouragement and hands‑on creative support.
Experience supporting individuals on the Autism Spectrum is helpful, especially in environments that blend creativity, coaching, and step‑by‑step project support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing, planning, and completing music‑based goals and creative milestones.
- Break creative ideas into manageable, sequential tasks that promote follow‑through and independence.
- Establish and reinforce routines, project timelines, and consistent work habits.
- Participate in community outings related to music, creative interests, and local arts opportunities.
- Provide steady, supportive one‑on‑one mentorship that encourages confidence, skill‑building, and self‑expression.
Ideal Candidate
- Patient, empathetic, and encouraging in both creative and structured settings.
- Strong interest or experience in music production, performance, or audio‑related arts.
- Organized, dependable, and able to provide gentle structure without being rigid.
- Comfortable supporting a neurodiverse young adult with collaborative, strengths‑based guidance.
- Reliable, consistent, and able to maintain a calm, positive presence.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with music production software (Pro Tools, GarageBand, or similar).
- Familiarity with music recording, audio editing, or multi‑instrument practice.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and help move creative projects from idea to completion.
Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
