What You'll Do
As an Industrial Maintenance Operator, you'll help keep our facility operating safely, efficiently, and reliably by maintaining equipment and supporting plant operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Operate and perform basic maintenance on Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pumps
- Set up, prime, and operate electric trash pumps
- Work with industrial valves, piping systems, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment inspections
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe industrial facility through housekeeping and equipment cleaning
- Read and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support plant operators and assist with plant operations as needed
- Troubleshoot basic pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial pumping equipment
- Promote a safe work environment by following all company safety policies and procedures
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of Air-Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) pumps, including operation and basic maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of electric trash pumps, including setup, priming, and operation
- Experience working with industrial valves, piping systems, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to industrial housekeeping, equipment cleanliness, and facility upkeep
- Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Willingness to learn plant operations and support operators when needed
- Ability to safely lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to work extended shifts of up to 12 hours when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Wheel loader certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Experience troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial pumping equipment
- Experience troubleshooting boilers or hot oil heaters
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, wastewater, chemical processing, or heavy industrial operations
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (including lunch)
- Must arrive approximately 15 minutes before the start of the shift to be ready to begin work at 7:00 AM
- Rotating Saturdays as needed
- Occasional extended shifts up to 12 hours
