Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Pediatric Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential rehabilitative services to pediatric patients across various settings, including home health, and community programs. Your expertise will help children achieve their developmental goals through innovative treatment plans and collaborative care.
Duties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to pediatric patients’ needs, including those with neurological, orthopedic, or developmental conditions
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children’s physical, motor, speech, language, and cognitive functions using current clinical standards
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Manage clinical documentation accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards
- Provide patient care that promotes recovery, mobility, communication skills, and overall well-being in outpatient or home health settings
- Engage with families and caregivers to educate them on therapy techniques, progress updates, and home exercise programs
- Participate in outpatient rehabilitation center activities or inpatient hospital rounds as needed for comprehensive patient management
Qualifications
- Valid licensure or certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) in the relevant state
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric populations across outpatient clinics, inpatient hospital settings, or home health environments
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, neurology, orthopedics, and medical terminology related to pediatric care
- Proven ability to develop effective treatment plans and adapt interventions based on patient progress and evolving needs
- Experience with discharge planning, care plan development, and working within electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to engage children and their families compassionately
- Prior experience working with geriatric patients or in community-based care is a plus but not required

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
