This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a pay range of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, plus a shift differential, with multiple shift options available. We are seeking dedicated Quality Inspectors to join a manufacturing plant in Santa Rosa. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting visual, functional, and dimensional assessments to verify that all manufactured goods align with established quality criteria and technical specifications.
Core Duties-
Execute comprehensive visual, functional, and dimensional product evaluations.

Utilize precision tools like calipers to ensure accurate measurements.

Record all findings and quality metrics to help maintain accurate production logs.

Detect and flag items that do not meet quality standards to ensure only compliant products move forward.

Adhere to established protocols for rejecting items, retaining samples, and managing rework.

Conduct final quality checks on reworked items as necessary.

Keep your designated inspection station and surrounding workspace organized and tidy.

Contribute to team meetings by sharing relevant quality status updates.

Complete additional tasks as directed by management.
Required Qualifications-
Completion of high school or an equivalent educational program.

At least one year of professional experience in a quality control capacity.

Proficiency in operating precision measurement instruments.

Capability to interpret and apply technical blueprints.

Fundamental computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Familiarity with ISO 13485/ISO 9001 standards and SPC is highly desirable.

Strong focus on precision and the ability to work effectively both solo and within a group.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Preferred: Background in plastic injection molding or the medical device manufacturing sector.
Physical Demands-
Capable of performing repetitive movements, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis and handle over 20 lbs. frequently.

Must be comfortable with occasional climbing and working within a standard manufacturing setting.
