Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled RN Administrator to oversee the clinical operations of our pediatric day health program. The ideal candidate will possess extensive nursing leadership experience within pediatric, acute, or specialized healthcare settings. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. The RN Administrator will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency while fostering a compassionate environment for children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, ensuring effective team management and professional development.
- Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure seamless delivery of pediatric healthcare services.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, healthcare quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including case management and medical providers.
- Manage documentation processes utilizing EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and ensure accuracy of medical records.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and utilization management to optimize departmental performance.
- Collaborate with Nursing Leadership to monitor delivery of medical services.
- Address client and family concerns and maintain positive consumer relations.
- Shares administrative on-call responsibilities with other nursing managers during respite weekends and provides shift coverage as needed.
Skills
- Strong background in managing healthcare staff.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems along with productivity software for reporting and documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and quality improvement leadership practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to oversee operations management and budgeting processes effectively.
- Current CPR certification (pediatric CPR required)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
