Overnight LPN (7P–7A) — We Care More LLC — St. Petersburg, FL 33710
$32–$34/hour · W-2 · Weekly pay · Full-time & part-time
Pay: $32–$34/hour, based on experience. Experienced trach/vent nurses and LPNs with active IV certification start at our top rate — $34/hr.
We Care More LLC is a family-owned, APD-licensed medical group home. We care for a small, stable group of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical needs — the same residents every shift, in a real home, not a hospital or nursing facility.
We're looking for a dependable overnight LPN who wants to settle in for the long term.
Nights here
Overnights are calmer. Most residents are sleeping, the house is quiet, and you'll have real autonomy with your patients, 2 CNAs with you, and a strong clinical team a phone call away. If you do your best work without the daytime traffic of families and providers coming and going, this is your shift.
The setting
- Small census: 5 residents now, 6 maximum — you'll actually know your patients
- Some residents have tracheostomies, ventilators, feeding tubes, oxygen, or indwelling catheters
- CNAs on every shift, plus a DON, RN team, RT, pulmonology, and wound care behind you
- Charting in SimpleMAR (our eMAR), with strict HIPAA and documentation standards
What you'll do
- Direct nursing care: medication administration, treatments, G-tube/J-tube feedings
- Trach care, suctioning, and routine vent checks
- IV medications, catheter care, oxygen monitoring, dressing changes
- Overnight assessments, vitals, and accurate documentation
- Support residents with IDD in a respectful, person-centered way
- Communicate changes and hand off cleanly to the oncoming nurse and DON
What we're looking for
- Active Florida LPN license in good standing
- Current BLS
- Trach/vent experience preferred — not required. If you're a strong nurse ready to learn, we provide paid training and skills check-offs before you ever work independently with vent residents.
- Comfortable caring for adults with IDD, including behavioral support needs
- IV certification preferred, or willingness to certify within 60 days (we support it)
- Dependable, with a track record of showing up and staying
- Able to pass a background check (FDLE and local)
- Reliable transportation to St. Petersburg 33710
What we offer
- Up to $34/hr — experienced vent/IV nurses start at the top rate
- W-2 with weekly pay — real paychecks every week, no 1099 surprises at tax time
- Paid orientation and skills check-offs before you're on your own with vent residents
- A small, stable census and a real clinical support network
- Overnight shift, full-time or part-time (kept under 40 hrs/week)
