Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring smooth transactions at checkout.
Duties
- Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Upsell products or services to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Supervise and train junior cashiers when needed
Requirements
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts and change efficiently
