Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of patient care, accuracy, and professionalism. Experience in retail or compounding is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, compounding (if applicable), and verification processes
- Communicate with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies in a professional manner
- Manage inventory, stock medications, and maintain clean work areas
- Process insurance claims and troubleshoot rejections
- Operate point-of-sale systems and handle transactions
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and company policies
- Provide excellent customer service and support to the pharmacy team
Qualifications:
- Current Texas Pharmacy Technician Registration (or willingness to obtain)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Reliability, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude
