Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role involves working on various construction sites, assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete structures. The Superintendent will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities-
Managing Subs to perform the following -
- Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris and setting up forms for concrete pouring.
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete according to specifications and project requirements.
- Operate various tools and equipment safely, including mixers, trowels, and saws.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure that all work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow on construction sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Prolog, ProCore, or HeavyBid is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand construction estimating processes.
- Knowledge of quality control practices related to concrete work.
- Experience with pipeline installation is an advantage but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration on-site.
- Commitment to safety practices while working in potentially hazardous environments.
- Travel to job locations within the DFW Metroplex.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,500.00 per week
