Job Title: Football Student Coach
Effective Date: 8/10/26
Reports to: Assistant Football Coach - Offensive Line
Department: Athletics
Rate of Pay: Maryland Minimum Wage
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
Location of Position: Gill Center / Gill Stadium , McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, MD 21157
Duration of Appointment: August 5, 2026 to May 25, 2027
Schedule: Schedule is at discretion of supervisor
Evaluation Procedures: Student workers are evaluated on a continuous basis.
Scope: Assist Football Coaches
Responsibilities:
- Assist with practice/games/other operations as needed
- Assist Coaching Staff with Drill organization
- Assist Coaching Staff with Film Breakdown
- Work directly with coaching staff on practice field
- Assist with football game strat program
- Assist with Film Upload to computers
- Other duties as assigned
- Current undergraduate student at McDaniel College.
- Must be available for morning practices/weekend games
- Must be professional, reliable and responsible
- Ability to follow directions
- Computer technology knowledge is a plus
- Football knowledge is required
