Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive relationships to encourage repeat visits
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food handling regulations
- Support food preparation and kitchen staff when needed, demonstrating teamwork in a fast-paced environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable for reservations is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order processing
- Experience with serving in high-volume environments like nightclubs or upscale restaurants is advantageous
