The Rosedale Preschool is a play based preschool located in North Central Austin. We are searching for a lead preschool teacher in our 3 year old class. Our ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, management skills, an understanding of exceptional customer service and good organizational skills. With our boutique sized school, play-based curriculum and strong parent-teacher network we will help children prepare for the next level of education. There will be an opportunity to grow within the company as the school grows.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field and/Or 5 years of early childhood management experience preferred.
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
