Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

- 7 On / 7 Off
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Wednesday to Tuesday)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a collaborative pharmacy team serving a diverse patient population across inpatient and outpatient settings. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with strong clinical knowledge and medication management experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services to patients
- Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately and safely
- Monitor patient medication therapies and ensure appropriate clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide clinical pharmacy services for neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and safety standards
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical pharmacy operations
- Support pharmacy staff, technicians, and healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication documentation using Allscripts EMR
- Work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call schedules as required
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-recognized school required
- Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. State or Territory required
- Current AHA BLS/BCLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Pharmacist required
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Pharmacist experience required
- Strong clinical knowledge and medication management skills required
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities required
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment required
Additional Information:
- Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start
- Orientation scheduled every 2 weeks
- Holiday coverage required
