The role of the medical assistant is a position that will work side by side with a provider (PA/NP/Physician). Knowledge of general medical terminology and willingness to learn is strongly recommended.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinating care with a provider
- Documenting data in an EMR system and assisting with notes and in-office procedures
- Addressing issues raised patients in a compassionate manner
- Returning calls and calling in prescriptions
- Organizing data in a logical and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
