Tow Truck Driver – 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty Lariat (Wrecker)
Optimus Towing & Recovery is hiring an experienced Wrecker Operator to join our growing team.
This position is for a wheel-lift wrecker only—not a flatbed. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, respects the equipment they operate, and provides excellent customer service.
You’ll be driving a brand-new 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty Lariat equipped with a professional wheel-lift towing unit. The truck features a powerful diesel engine, heated and ventilated leather seats, a large touchscreen with built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, backup camera, and advanced towing technology to make your workday safer and more comfortable.
Pay
- Starting at $25.00 per hour
- Performance-based raises for dependable employees who demonstrate professionalism, strong work ethic, and quality work
- Overtime opportunities available
Schedule
- Monday through Saturday
- Sundays off
- Day shift or night shift
- Must be flexible to work either shift as needed
Responsibilities
- Operate a 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty Lariat with a wheel-lift towing unit
- Safely tow vehicles using a wheel-lift and tow dollies
- Use Towbook to receive dispatches, update jobs, and complete paperwork
- Perform roadside assistance and light-duty towing
- Complete required photos and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Keep the truck spotless inside and out
- Wear gloves while performing towing operations
- Treat every customer with professionalism and respect
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of towing experience
- Experience operating a wheel-lift/wrecker is required (not just flatbed experience)
- Must know how to properly use tow dollies
- Experience using Towbook is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Clean background (must qualify for our insurance)
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
Work Location
Truck is picked up and dropped off daily at our Denver shop near Alameda Avenue and Jason Street.
