Reservoir Distillery is looking for multiple experienced bartenders to join our tasting room team on a very part-time basis.
These positions are a good fit for people who already have solid hospitality experience and are looking to add a small number of shifts to their schedules. Our biggest current need is weekday availability, particularly during the day and early evening.
We are a working distillery with a small tasting room, a neighborhood bar feel, and a cocktail program centered around Reservoir spirits. Service can range from a quiet weekday afternoon with regulars and visitors to a busy evening, private event, or full tasting room.
This is a very hands-on job. Bartenders are responsible for more than making drinks. Everyone shares responsibility for cleaning, stocking, prep, dishes, opening and closing work, and ongoing sidework.
Because we are a small team, we need people who can work independently, notice what needs to be done, and stay productive during slower periods without needing a running task list.
What We're Looking For:
- At least 3 years of bartending and/or full-service hospitality experience
- Weekday availability, especially daytime availability
- Strong basic bartending and cocktail knowledge
- Reliable and communicative
- Comfortable working independently
- Willing to clean, stock, prep, do dishes, and complete sidework as part of the regular job
- Able to stay productive during slower periods
- Comfortable taking direction and following through
- Friendly and confident with guests
- Comfortable learning and talking about our spirits
- Whiskey or distillery experience is helpful, but not required
We do not have separate barback or cleaning staff during normal tasting room service. Maintaining the bar and guest space is part of the bartender position, and everyone on the team is expected to pull their weight.
Hours and Scheduling
These positions will generally average 5–15 hours per week, depending on availability and scheduling needs.
We want to be clear about that upfront. These are genuinely very part-time positions and are best suited for people whose schedules and income needs work with a limited number of hours.
There may occasionally be opportunities to pick up additional shifts.
We are also staffing ahead of the fall and holiday season, including the potential return of our Christmas bar. This may create additional shifts and higher-volume service, but additional hours, specific shifts, and seasonal volume are not guaranteed.
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
Application Question(s):
