Job Summary
EDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct evaluations and prepare assessment reports.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations.
- Support students with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs.
Qualifications
- Valid state SLP license.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology..
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required by some employers.
- Experience working with children or students with disabilities..
- Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
