Temporary Maintenance Technician (4 months)

Pay: $35/hr - $40/hr + OT + Housing / travel / meal per diem provided
Shift: 2nd shift – Monday thru Thursday (3pm-1am) position runs now until the end of November 2026
Travel & Lodging expenses provided: Company will provide extended stay hotel accommodations with kitchen, daily meal per diem allowance of $68 a day, and mileage reimbursement.
We are seeking temporary Maintenance Technicians to conduct electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service in a production facility.
Summary:
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Troubleshooting PLC’s for automated production equipment
- Maintenance and repair production and facility electrical
- Maintain and repair automated production machinery including extrusion machines
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years or more of Manufacturing or Production Maintenance experience
- Must have excellent Electrical troubleshooting experience
- PLC knowledge and experience in PLC troubleshooting – a must (no programming)
- Electrical Maintenance on control circuits, 3 phase motors, VFD’s, AC/DC Drives, Power Supplies, etc
- Electrical Aptitude and ability to read and interpret Electrical Diagrams and Control Circuits
- Knowledge of Volts, Amps, Ohms – electrical current
- Experience with Maintenance for conveyors, packaging machines, fillers, mixers - all highly preferred
- Good capabilities in mechanical and electrical production facility maintenance procedures and standards
- Good ability with hand tools
- No physical limitations - must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders / stairs + work on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Proficiently in English language is required – good communication skills
- Must be able to start in Zuber / Ocala FL ASAP
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
