Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Final Inspection Supervisor on the third shift, overseeing the quality assurance process to ensure every product meets the highest standards of excellence. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily final inspection activities during the overnight shift, ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures
- Lead and motivate inspection team members to achieve production goals while maintaining safety and quality compliance
- Oversee the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product specifications
- Conduct thorough quality audits and inspections utilizing data collection tools to identify deviations from ISO 9001, HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory requirements
- Review inspection results and collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformities promptly
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, calibration logs for measurement tools, and audit reports for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including FDA regulations, ISO standards, and internal quality management systems
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing quality control or inspection roles with a strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, CGMP, ISO 9001, and HACCP standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory experience in a production or quality environment
- Proficiency in using calibration tools such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and other precision measuring instruments
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data from quality audits and inspection reports
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), QA/QC processes, and conducting quality assurance activities
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data collection and record keeping
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (11:50 PM – 8:00 AM), Sunday through Thursday
