About Genexus
Genexus is a multi-brand apparel company headquartered in Gardena, California. We design and distribute six brands across wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels, with a heritage in California-inspired women’s and men’s lifestyle apparel dating back to 1991. Our DTC e-commerce business is in a period of significant growth, and we are building an in-house digital marketing capability to support the next stage of that expansion.
The Role
This is a hands-on, execution-focused position. The Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads for all six of our brands. Campaign strategy, creative direction, and performance analytics are managed by internal leadership. This role is focused on translating that strategic direction into precise, timely execution within the advertising platforms.
Responsibilities
- Build, launch, and manage campaigns in Meta Ads Manager (Advantage+ Shopping, Dynamic Product Ads, prospecting, retargeting) and Google Ads (Shopping, Brand Search) across six brand accounts
- Upload creative assets produced by our in-house design team and configure ad variations for A/B testing
- Monitor daily spend pacing across all accounts and ensure campaigns stay within approved budget targets
- Implement bid adjustments, audience modifications, frequency caps, and budget reallocations based on direction from leadership
- Manage product catalog feeds for Dynamic Product Ad campaigns across multiple Shopify storefronts
- Set up and maintain Meta Conversions API (CAPI) and pixel tracking infrastructure, including event configuration, domain verification, and Event Match Quality optimization
- Pull weekly performance data from Meta, Google, and Shopify dashboards; prepare reports that reconcile platform-reported metrics against Shopify-validated revenue
- Build and manage audience lists: lookalike audiences, custom audiences, exclusion lists, and engagement-based segments
- Execute creative, copy, audience, and placement tests as directed by the strategy team
- Stay current on platform updates (Meta Advantage+, Google Performance Max, attribution and privacy changes) and communicate relevant developments to the team
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, including campaign builds, ad set structure, and catalog management
- Experience managing combined monthly ad budgets in the range of $15,000–$50,000+ across multiple accounts
- Working familiarity with Shopify, including an understanding of how orders, revenue, and attribution data flow between Shopify and advertising platforms
- Understanding of the distinction between in-platform reported ROAS and source-of-truth validated ROAS, and the factors that cause them to differ
- Experience with or willingness to learn Conversions API (CAPI) implementation and server-side tracking configuration
- Strong attention to detail — the ability to audit campaign settings, catch misallocated budgets, and ensure quality assurance before campaigns go live
- Ability to work independently with clear direction and follow structured processes accurately
- Meta Blueprint certification and/or Google Ads certification preferred but not required
Additional Context
This role is part of a small, focused team. Creative assets are produced in-house by our design team, and campaign strategy is developed by leadership using internal analytics tools. The Paid Media Specialist’s primary responsibility is ensuring that strategic decisions are implemented accurately and efficiently within the advertising platforms. Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
